Disaster Impact on Property Values: Hurricanes Andrew and Wilma and BP Oil Spill

Example: The map shows immediate value drop in the path of the September 1992 Hurricane Andrew. Over two years, however, the difference between areas in the Hurricane path and other areas lessened.
Through this service, users can search an address by inputting the road, city and state in the search bar. The analytical conditions can be adjusted, and include real estate type, disaster type, time period, and analytical union. A layer control panel allows users to display or hide layers such as median income on the map. A price per sq. ft. change legend shows by what percentage the prices increase or decrease.
